Born in 1995 and a graduate of the Korean National Institute for the Gifted in Arts, Korean violinist In Mo Yang currently studies with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory. His list of international awards is impressive: First Prize at the Paganini Competition 2015 (the first awarded since 2006!), First Prize at Concert Artists Guild Competition 2014, Second Prize at the Menuhin Violin Competition 2014... Such honors have earned him opportunities to perform with orchestras such as the Zurich Philharmonia and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
