Brass instruments, a men’s world? Go take a tour of the “ten Thing” website, the brass band led by Norwegian star trumpet player Tine Thing Helseth, and with one click you will lose all your preconceptions… Radiant, the ensemble of these ten stunning young ladies is truly a gust of fresh air in the world of classical music… and not only because they come from the High North! Founded in 2007, their ensemble has already performed in such prestigious venues as the BBC Proms and Carnegie Hall. Here, they are taking us on a journey mixing Norwegian music and classical “hits”, with even a few forays into... pop!
