They are among those artists we love to hear again and again, who over the years, through their loyalty and talent, have succeeded in forming a real “family”: that of Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy, gathered around the same ideal of musical practice among friends, in a privileged setting, magnified by the founder Yehudi Menuhin. This summer, Sol Gabetta and Bertrand Chamayou have invited one of the finest violinists of her generation, Bavarian Veronika Eberle, trained in Munich by Ana Chumachenco (a pillar of the Gstaad String Academy), to play Beethoven and Schubert.
